Typetester! It was listed on the “Best CSS Tools”.

The Typetester is an online application for comparison of the fonts for the screen. Its primary role is to make web designer’s life easier. As the new fonts are bundled into operating systems, the list of the common fonts will be updated.

It makes our preview and display the actual fonts on our screens faster and accurate. However, I find it much useful compare to CSS typeset that I had mentioned in my blog earlier.

Give a try! And you could easily copy the css code by clicking on “Get CSS”.

Recently I have been looking on Web 2.0 UI and realize the full use of CSS and Java Scripts was a big trend now. And less people were using tables in html. Why? Or read this.

Right now, majority of the good and innovative design don’t feature much on full flash, soon or later people “suspended” the idea of full interactive animation. There were few reasons, I think it was because of the search engine or website content unlikely to be searched; or you should read this

Fully integrated CSS and jQuery, both allow our website interactive and work similar like a flash site. Another benefits, the content is much more dynamic and searchable.

Last year, tmsPortfolio.com was integrated with full Flash. One disadvantage point of it - not friendly for details search or keyword analyze. Furthermore, trouble and hassle for updating when using Flash.

To allow my team member to access the code and they could edit the file easily. So I have decided to move back to html with fully integrated CSS. In addition, the loading time are much faster.

Few months back I had decided to get myself a new racket, and I’d been looking around and tested some other people’s racket, after I had tested Leo’s 10 years old KX yellow baby and I told myself KX would be my next NEW racket, it suited me and price were reasonable.

After months later and I heard our friend KX yellow baby has broken and he bought another new KX, and given me some online tips to find out more about KX. And I found this KX Nano Power Ace Savannah Racket (All Rounder) from bambintonbay.com and immediately I felt in love with it.

While searching around on Internet, I realized the KX’s HQ was actually located less than 3 KM from my parent’s house. Finally I paid a visit at their gallery and knowing this guy name William who was very friendly and helpful.

William told me KX Nano was a good racket and harder than other model. I was happy with his explanation and without my 2nd thought, RM198 out from my wallet.

9 of Oct (First week) I test my new racket. And Leo felt in love with it too. Trust me, without hitting it on the floor or hitting with partner’s racket at all. Unfortunately, it BROKEN and I think lasted for few games only! Gosh… everyone from courts were shocked and keep asking about what happened and was it come with warranty!?

Fortunately I called William the next day and he told me the racket might be defects and they will replace me a new one with no cost. And I was thinking should I go back the same model or change another model; ok.. Let’s give NANO another chances.

16th of Oct (2 week); The strings broken! Opps…not again! Micol said it could be the racket and my “Ba Zhi” not match! Anyway, I don’t believe that.

So I spent RM21 with my new Yonnex 66 strings. And played on the following week I think it lasted less than 3 games, it KAPUT, BROKEN again! Speechless, disappointed…was it because made in China? I believed it was the model and the materials they’d used were not tested correctly. KX, you need to do some works lah! :P

So, I decided to call William again and ask for new replacement, this time I’m looking for another model - Series 939D, similar to what Leo is having now. Hope it’s not going to “Break” my heart again! :P

Last week I was invited to the year end graduation concert for Tadika Tunas Riang, it was a half day photography session and I was quite enjoyed with entire setting and allowed me took some nice photos.

Overall, in just 4 hours I had managed to snap more than 400 shots; it’s tiring when I have to squat down and stand up and bend again! Next day, I could felt the pain of my leg’s muscle.

Anyway, for all the hard work, it was total worth of efforts to catch the moment of innocence. There were about 150 -200 students and we all squeezed inside a 900 sq foot markup room; and noise of kids’ laughing, crying and teacher was scolding, it was like a war zone. However, I was sweat but nuthing to stop me kept searching for the “face” that bring you “words”!

It reminded me when I was in kinder performance, so far that’s only 1 or 2 photos I had while I was dancing on the stage. How about the close up and the moment before going to stage? Personally I felt this moment behind the stage was absolutely difference.

Facebook - to connect with your old buddy! Now what? Geni, is a tool for understanding and staying in touch with your family. I’ve seen Geni quite sometime and didn’t bother to do it. Lately, I was invited by my cousin Eric Lim, one of my eldest cousin brothers in Lim Family.

Geni is quite similar to Facebook apps, there’s your own profile, private group and photo album, videos etc. One thing I love about it is the TREE.  With the tress you able to track the relationship between who and who, it’s good for our young generations especially my kids, one day they able to find out who is their grand-grand father.

After I have joined in, and I was surprised the “Tree” has grown so fast in my family members, and I could view my cousin who is my grandfather’s sister’s grand daughter (far apart), gosh!  And some of them I don’t even seen them before. Pai-seh!

Nevertheless, time flies, I met my relatives when I was 8-10 years old; how amazing after 20 years later and we are “meeting” in Geni.

I hope my parent able to use computer and access to Internet, soon or later they would have hook-up with Geni. Hahaha… I believe old folks are appreciated with their own blood relationship and would want to keep in touch while they have the chances.

But first of all, I should register an email for my parents. :)
