How to make skin smoother especially you have a wonderful shot but something was missing from perfection. In fact, it had been a while I wanted to try out this effect in PS (Adobe Photoshop).
Found a lot of steps from tutorials that teaching how to smoother skin in PS; yet I found one which is much simple and quick way to create smoother and younger skin.
Firstly, duplicate the same image in another layer; then create the effect of “Surface Blur” from PS filter > Blur; and depend on how much Radius (here I have used 20 pixels) and Threshold at 12-15 levels.
Secondly, use effect of “Smart Blur” from PS filter > Blur; with Threshold 100, for quality select on “High”, for Radius will be depending on results. If too much pixels selected then it will be looked too fake. But I have used 1.1 pixels.
Once have done on the effects, go back “Layers” and change the “Opacity” to 60% - 70%. Of coz it’s not done yet, there’s some manual work to be done. Use Eraser Tools to brush out the none-skin area such as her eyes, hair and background etc. About 2-3 minutes of brushing and erasing and finally the master-piece has completed.

Another smoother exercise for my son’s face… look more baby face (Right) now!

Well, it was not that taught to work with Peter Chin - Group Creative Director & General Manager who didn’t know much about web.
Primeworks Studios has established as a new subsidiary of Media Prima, no longer a department (Creative Service Department). However, it was not the main reason why Peter decided to revamp the old design, currently it also lack of portfolio or works.
Old design…

Few months back, I met up Peter’s personal consultant – Sarah Lian (www.sarah-lian.com) who also a famous model in Malaysia. Overall, she knew quite a lot of things and what suppose to have on the new design. Overall, we have a good session and new comments.
Unfortunately, the whole idea had “freeze” due to new team with new set up. But a few months later, we had agree to continue with new design; meet up with Peter again and the whole ideas were very simple – Make public users feel good of CSD and show as many portfolios.
Finally, gone through a few round of presentations, eventually Peter like things to be done correctly and perfect. We had spent most of the time choosing the right photos and videos file… goosh! That was taken up sometime to solve it out correctly.
However, entire website was fully coded in Full CSS; first of all, would like to give the credit to my designer – Cherry. She has done a good work.

Few months back, Evelina the bride had called me and booked my schedule for her wedding at Kuala Lumpur. 15th November 2008 was the “W” day and I’d wake up in the morning 5.30am and rush to KL Concord Hotel before her make-up artist had arrived.

Nevertheless, taking photos from morning till afternoon, I only had 3 hours of rest before heading back to dinner or the evening sessions! I really had great experience this time since I had well-prepared with my new Dem diffuser. No worry with my lighting issue or problems with my battery for flash. And I still remember the last photo taken @ 11:45pm!
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my results; one more thing that amazed of, that I’d broke my own record – 1050 of pictures taken in a day!
