TMS had developed and approach another great application “tmsWorkflow“, to allow user to design their own workflow modules easily to mange the complex mechanism without any hard-code or special customization.

Well, team has decided to brand it as Open Source software and given a name called ‘JOGET‘.

What is Joget?
The Joget is the most popular traditional dance throughout Malaysia. It is performed at cultural festivals, wedding celebrations and other social functions. Joget (video) is a couple dance and the tempo is fairly quick with a feeling of teasing and playing between the partners.

The concept and idea of using Joget, it has interpreted an application featured with flexibility and dynamic. It was how the dancer’s movement and way of performance. I was using the styles from each of them, especially the hand of dancers.

This logo should also design for impact, reliability and exceptionality. The shapes embody the spirit of strength and cohesion. The various elements are unified into a central theme of strength and vitality, yet they remain unique.

The original logo displayed shapes of hands. The approach was already overused and the Olivedrab mixing well with yellowgreen color did express energy, dynamic, active, and represents the continuous movement that characterizes the applications.

Well, the team has decided the final logo’s font type and colors.

The logo displayed on the screen of application.

Wow… last article was posted one month ago! A lot of things have to catch up and fall sick badly on few weeks back. Now I realize health is important, coz once you are sick and mean everything will stop.

tmsPortfolio.com was started in 2007. And it’s time to revamp the old website and create an new identity. Somehow, I have to define the concepts and uniqueness which based on the company (TMS) and department.

Decided to make it simple, dynamic shapes with pastel color. Yupe! Last month I did mention about Logo Trend…here’s I’ve used “foldover”, “Amoeba”!

Or something I have never attempt before….

I had meeting with CSD’s group creative director, and found out they’d formed another company called “Primeworks studios” and their new logo looks interesting and I was curious about the approach of lines and forms.

This was something valiant or bold to attempt such a design especially for corporate.

If we talked about ‘TREND’… there were fashion trends, interior design trend or web design trend but how about logo?

Yes. There’s a trend for logo too. Even every year with dissimilar approach, such as this year we have 2008 trends for logo design.

Check it our some of the logos downloaded from LogoLonge.com.

Amoebe

Foldover

Strobe

This is trend of ‘Fibrous‘… similar to Primeworks logo.

What is “SAA” (Software Asia Alliance)?

Established in 2008, Software Asia Alliance (SAA) is the first global ICT-based alliance of its kind offering comprehensive end-to-end solutions and services for various industry segments, delivered with the full understanding of each industry’s specific requirements, as well as the cultural appreciation of each region.

Follow the same vision of the SAA’s core business, I have to find some elements that represent it.

Currently there’s 6 members include XYBASE, EBDesk, Patimas, TMS, SSC Solution and BlueBridge Software

Gone through the same process and some changes here and there. Finally the logo has decided…

The orange DOT represented unity and globalization, and the free-form shape in the logo is made strong graphically to symbolize the freedom to pursue new ideas. The shades of green symbolizes that information technology are incorporated in the delivery of knowledge.
